Hey all! So, I hope many of you already know that Glory Days has changed their name to Young Rising Sons. Same members… different name. Well, their new album came out yesterday. (“Highway Town”). This video is one of their songs. Me personally, I love it. Has to be my favorite on the album as of right now. They’ve come out with a few albums and EP’s over the last two years and even with this one being so different (their first rock n’ roll album) from the others it is still amazing. The fact that Glory Days/Young Rising Sons have gone all the way from Surfer Rock to Rock n’ Roll and others in between, really REALLY shows just how talented they are. I am just so incredibly proud of these four men. And I am equally excited and happy for them because they have been able to accomplish so much. I don’t just write this because I know them and run some of their fan pages. I started these fan pages and continue to run them because it is my absolute honor to give them the recognition they deserve. Four truly great musicians.

So, whether you’ve known them or are hearing about them for the first time, just give this song a listen. I doubt very many of you will be disappointed. Once Upon a time, Glory Days was featured in something called Naked Mag. If anyone doesn’t know what it is, here is their website to check them out. But basically, it is this pretty cool magazine that does articles on bands. All of their issues are archived online, so definitely check them out. 

Glory Days was featured in the September 2011 issue, among other bands such as Allstar Weekend, Mod Sun, and I See Stars… as well as others. I thought this was a really cool article on the guys and wanted to share it for those of you who have not seen it or for those of you who haven’t seen it in a while. Catherine Powell, who took these pictures, also photographs other people/bands as well. I’ve seen some of her work. She’s really good and takes great photos. Check her tumblr out here.
